alright, it's been a while. i sincerely apologize... to anyone who cares.
i moved! i love my new place, i love my new roommates, i love my new ward. i love it. i have the possibility of making more friends in this new place, which is really awesome. i miss just hanging out with people, without pressure of dating or romance or drama or anything and it's easy to find that here. it's wonderful. although, i wouldn't mind going out on a few of those... dates, i mean.
speaking of dating...
i finally went on a date! ending my forever-long dry spell. depending on your point of view, it was either an eight-month long or five month long dry spell. either way, it was a very long time. it was a fun double date... you know how those can go... the other date was cuter and had more in common with me... we'll see what i can do about that. hee hee...
i love my new classes! they are actually all very interesting. i am a family history class, i think my mom is more excited about that than i am. but, we won't go into that.
speaking of my mother...
she came up this past weekend for sundanceand i got picked up sunday evening to spend monday up there. i saw a movie, went to a panel, saw some famed personalities, you know, the whold shebang. there was this manekin in one of the stores with his pants pulled down, probably one of the best sightings up there.
my roommate had this ladder thing with all of the boys she knows on it and they moved up and down the ladder depending on their standing with her. for example, one guy could be in the "friend zone" but he could eventually make it up to the "marry this boy" zone. and vice versa. anyway, last night she decided that it wasn't up to date and she wanted to destroy it and start over. long story short, we now have an apartment "ladder" on one of our walls, with each of us being a different color (i'm red, of course). so that's what we did last night before retiring to bed. so, we'll see what follows with that whole shenanigan.
lately, my friends and i have enjoyed playing poker, mostly texas hold'em. i need more practice so i can always kick their trash. it's a fun game. it's starting to spread to all of our friends... i'm kinda proud of that.
well, i think that's it. other than the fact that we finally have a new president. i wouldn't want to enter the presidency right now, but whatever. good luck, barack. i thought it was kinda funny that in the inauguration speech he said something to the fact of, "i won't delay making decisions, we will finally get things done" or something like that... anyway, point is, they should georg w. and his reaction was what i would call "professional emotionless" i thought it was funny anyway.
alright, any questions?
recent quotes (a lot of these are kinda old):
