so my brother came up this past weekend - he probably shouldn't have but he did. it was fun while it lasted, like so many other things in my life. he took me to lunch. i made him breakfast, he came to church with me. flight of the conchords- 'nuff said.
i miss my family, it was good to get a physical reminder that they still exist. phone calls are nice but no matter who you are it's even nicer to get a hug from someone who has known you for your entire life.
moving on - i absolutely love letters. phone calls are nice but no matter who you are it's even nicer to get a letter from someone you miss - especially when phone calls aren't possible.
part of me wishes that i could live in the days when letters were the only form of communication. i could be lizzie bennett, sitting at my window sill reading a letter from my mr. darcy - whom i hate-love. but then i feel the heat from the vent and hear the noise from a nearby computer alerting me of my most recent facebook message - sent approximately 3 seconds ago - and gratefully realize i am quite content with my current situation.
so i told my mother that i didn't know where i was eating for thanksgiving because none of my many nearby relatives had called to invite me to dinner. i wasn't about to call one of them to invite myself, "yes, hello uncle/aunt ______, i'm quite offended that you have slighted me and have forgotten my dire need of a thanksgiving meal in an upcoming thursday holiday. yes, you've hear of such holiday. anyway, i'm coming over there on that aforementioned thrusday. oh ya - come pick me up too." ya... not exactly how i roll. but, i knew my mother could take care of that for me - so, i have an invitation now. thanks, mom. thanks, uncle kenny/aunt erica/nana.
quotes of the day:
"i like when you leap, it's quite studly." - nori
"fayce, i like fayce!!" - jeremiah
"my brother had this conditioner that felt minty." - wistie
some quotes cannot be expressed in words but i know at a lot of points and facial expressions that i wish i was more capable of expressing in words
i'll work on getting better quotes - i'll start writing them down, if i remember to. i really do have some great ones every day...

Yay for brothers!
Yay for letters!!!!!!
Yay for Thanksgiving meals!
Yay for quotes of the day!
Writing is the ability to make the reader experience the sensation....even and especially facial expressions. My english teacher told me that in high school after I turned in my paper on experiencing the thrill of chocolate. So there you go. A short letter written by today's standards. What is your address, maybe I will write. love you.
hey wistie! hope everything is going great! i'm glad your mom helped with out with a thanksgiving meal!!!
