you know how in the movies there is always that one ridiculous romantic scene that you wish could really happen? well, as it turns out, the writers of those scenes aren't amazingly creative after all. they don't just whip out those scenes out of nowhere. they come from experience.
let me explain.
a girl walks up the stairs, looking at the next step in front of her so she doesn't trip. about halfway up the flight she takes the risk of looking to the top of those stairs. at this point in time she looses control of the radical movements of her stomach before her brain can comprehend why.
at the top of the stairs her eyes meet another pair of eyes matched with a beautiful smile emitting from dark pink lips. an arm is outstretched leading to a hand clenched except for one finger pointing in her direction. the combination of all these cause the entirety of the world around these two people to blur into streaks of color. somehow, the only existence in the world is them and the space between; which is getting smaller as she continues her ascent, without tripping. she doesn't feel like she is floating up the stairs, it actually seems rather difficult to climb but she is focused on the only other person that exists so that she can climb, she can make it.
this moment seems like it could go on forever, which she wouldn't mind. however, it is over too soon, too quickly for both of them to truly enjoy its beauty.
she arrives at where he is. the blurs around them speed to normalcy and there is more to the world now that they are together, everything is right again. after a brief moment of staring and silence and smiles... one word.
